Hello,
i am having a bit of a rough time. My gran who is like a mother to me has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. We aren't aware of stages as it is a diagnosis from the respiratory care team. She is now waiting to see the oncologist.
She has been told that there isn't really anything that they can do by the consultant today and the tumour is inoperable. She is in agony, they also said chemo may be an option but it may not cure anything. It has spread to chest bones and her lympnodes and glands.
its so hard what to expect as this doesn't sound good? Any ideas of what would be next?
