I'm hoping that someone has some experience with salvia gland tumours? About six months ago I was referred by my dr to hospital due to a lump under my left jawline. Biopsy showed up a mixed cell benign tumour of the submanular salvia gland. I'm on the waiting list for surgery but the last few months I've been experiencing a pins and needle/nerve pain from the tumour site that comes and goes. Sometimes I don't get it for weeks but I would say at the moment it's getting worse. I don't think the tumour has grown and I don't have any other signs I was warned about such as sweats fever ect. Waiting for a call back from the hospital about it and basically done the wrong thing and googled it, which has all but convinced me it's turned cancerous as I can't find much on benign tumours with this type of pain. Can noncancerous salvia gland tumours produce this kind of pain?
