ovarian cancer

hi, just wanna ask some questions bout ovarian cancer, i already use this site for beating breast cancer last year, but my best mates mum just been diagnosd yesterday, all a bit of shock and like to know more? she been offered chemo but no surgery at mo, im feeling this is bad, but til i know for real dont wanna say anything to my friend, thanks if anyone can help x

    Welcome back to our site. I hope you found it helpful last year and that you have recovered well. I am sorry to hear that your best friend's mum has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

    We have some detailed information on our website on ovarian cancer which you can read here and I hope it will answer some of the questions you may have. Feel free also to ring our nurses at any point on this free number 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

    Some of our members here have had ovarian cancer and I hope they will be along soon to answer any question you may have. Lovely [@haze44]‍ for example has had chemotherapy treatment for ovarian cancer and she may be a great person for you to talk to.

    Hello Jenni, I have been waiting for you to make contact after Mod. Lucie mentioned me (thanks, Lucie) because I didn't want to intrude too much.  So sorry to hear about your friend's mum, it can be a daunting prospect at the beginning - but I expect you already know that from your own diagnosis last year.

    I hope by now you will have found out a bit more about what is happening treatment-wise with your mate's mum.
