Chemotherapy

I have been diagnosed with non Hodgkin's lymphoma. I am 81 years old and have been told I can have chemo,I have agreed because I think we should give this nasty cancer a kick up the backside.its seven years since we lost our youngest daughter to lymphoma and the pain is still raw.what do you think.

  • That's really OK Jeannie - it's really no big thing

I always told people that I thought it must be so much harder to lose a child.

6 months on I really am almost over it now - that's very fast I know but I had in a sense been getting ready for it for 3 years.

I still forget that she's gone on a regular basis - I think that will take a lot longer to go.

I have great respect for your attitude and fight I hope you get a good result from the chemo and a really long remission
