I took it quite well at the start just because I thought what can you do , nothing is going to change what the doctor just told you. But now I'm finding it very hard, haven't found anyone like me and I don't know who is easiest to speak to.

Hi Jess, my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia at the beginning of last year........,she is 14 and would love to answer any questions or help you out in any way ️ Have you also heard of teens unite, mention it to clic Sargent ..... They do lots of events for teens to meet up......concerts , pizza making etc
I know how you feel. When I was diagnosed with Kidney cancer in december my first thought was how do I tell the children - I have twins 3 years old. In the end I have not told them and will wait till they are a little older. I don't know if it gets easier as time goes on yet but feel it must be like the grieving process which does get easier with time. I was very open about it - broke down at work let the flood gates open and felt much better for it. I don't think bottling it up helps and forms like ths are great.
