my kidney cancer

I have just done my profile and do not know what to do next. the morphine I take does confuse me a lot and I worry about anything these days. I know probably a hell oalot of people on your here are in the same boat or even worse. it would be nice to talk to someone that understands because we have all been asked the question over and over again, how are you feeling you are looking so well and on that day you have struggled to get out of bed and forcefully sent yourself to the shops or to a family gathering and you feel like death warmed up but our standard answer is yea I'm fine and slowly getting there. it sounds like I'm a moaning sod on here but I'm not I have got a sense of humor but I think it's slightly broken at the moment lol

  • Hi,

Very often when we have cancer, we still look well but what people dont see is the turmoil we have going on in our heads, the side effects of the medication and what an emotional roller coaster ride we are on. Cancer certainly changes the way we feel and even the way we looks at life.

I was very lucky as my wife pushed me into seeing my GP and my prostate cancer was caught in time. But we have now lost ten member of our respective families to cancer over the past few years.

Please keep in contact, best wishes, Brian.
