Hi Kevin, welcome to the forum, but sorry for the reason you are here. I'm sure it must have been a real shock to read the report, especially if none of this was discussed with your wife and you, prior to her discharge from hospital. I would suggest that someone owes her an explanation of what they know now, and what further plans are for her treatment. Certainly getting a cancer diagnosis is a real shock at any time, but reading it on a report with no prior discussion is very disrespectful to say the least. This would require a phone call to either her family doctor, or whoever did her surgery, and insist on an apt. to further discuss it.

As far as reading about this on the internet, I would strongly suggest you not do that. That information is not reliable and not based on sound research. There is information on this site that is based on reliable research that you can read up on her particular issues. However, your best source of information should come from her treating doctors to get a clear idea of what exactly is going on with her.

I'm so sorry this has happened to her and you in such an uncaring manner. Please come back on to the forum and let us know how things go for her.
