Worried that they will stop chemotherapy until it is healed , anyone else have same

  • Hello susaneggs,

I thought I would just bump your post as I know we have users here who have been diagnosed with Diffused Large B Cell Lymphoma and you may want to share your experience with them. You can find, for example, Rachael1's thread here and EngM35's recent post here so don't hesitate to respond to them too if you wish.

It might be worth checking with your medical team what they think of your wound. I hope it isn't too uncomfortable for you.

If you want to ask our nurses any advice, you can reach them on freephone 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. There is also an Ask the Nurses topic area on this forum.

I hope this helps and above all that your wound heals quickly! Have you had your pet scan and how did it go?

    Best wishes,

  • Hi lucie

Thanksyou for your reply,. Pet scan results showed that its stage 2 lymphoma , heart echo came back good so chemotherapy starts monday . 6 cycles of r_chop . Because of the wound leaking still the first cycle will be half dose in the hopes  it helps heal ready for second cycle . After 12 weeks of worry and waiting I just want to get it started .
