brother with lung cancer

Hi everyone my brother has just been told he has lung cancer i am heartbroken he is 82 always active now all he does all day is sit cant do anything he gets out of breath. Had all tests pet scan showed it had spread to lympnodes result were t4 n3 m1a m1b he has 4 treatments of radiotherpy to get next week but think he has given up its so upsetting love to everyone going through this with a loved one x

    So sorry to hear your sad news. I sometimes think it's easier you having the cancer than watching a loved one go through it. My grandad had lung cancer and was diagnosed just after my nan died and I think he just gave up it was terrible to see.

    Hi, so sorry about the sad news of your brother.  Our siblings have been with us all their lives, right from tiny children playing together, so it is an incredibly difficult time. My own brother died from cancer 20 years ago at the age of 56 and I was devastated.

    I am sure he appreciates your company so much at a time when he cant do much for himself.  Thoughts are with you both and my very best wishes!  x
