That must of been a scare.

Until they confirm anything, it could be anything, it does not have to be cancer.

Try to talk to someone and take your mind off it until then.

Try not to google, if you can.

All in favour of venting.  It is such a shock and life seems suddenly out of control.  I have just had my diagnosis of breast cancer.  I went in for the test results expecting to head straight back to work after the 'all clear' and am still amazed tto find myself here.  Feel annoyed actually, having done all of the 'healthy' things, it feels as though I have stepped into someone else's life by mistake! Fortunately the hospital has moved things along quickly for me.  Can you push to go elsewhere that would deal with it quicker?  Maybe even pay for the first bit if its an option; to hell with principles at this point.  Once you get your test results, I hope all is well but, if not, it is all very quickly dealt with.  You could work on your list of questions in the meantime.
