Hello Missycat
I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with tonsil cancer. It's understandable that you have questions about the treatment options and how these might impact you.
We have information on our website about treating tonsil cancer that you may find helpful. Hopefully, the MDT were able to give you some reassurance when they met regarding the treatment options. Recovery will vary depending on what treatments are recommended, but please be reassured that we will do our best to support you.
I'm going to tag in one of our lovely members RadioactiveRaz aka Hazel, in my reply. She has been through treatment for tonsil cancer and wrote a personal blog which I know many other people have found useful on their own journeys. I'm sure she will pop along when she gets a chance to say hello.
If it would help to talk things through with one of our team of nurses, you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.
Do keep in touch, Missycat, and let us know how you get on. We're here for you.
Best wishes,
Jenn
