I am currently going through test to see if the 2.8cm lung lesion is cancer, but my Dr thinks it's more likely to be cancer due to its size and location. I'm petrified of the outcome and treatment. My grown children live in different parts of the country and have very young children so I don't want them to have to be worrying about travelling 250 miles each way to be here but I know they will want to come. I won't be telling them anything until I have a positive diagnosis and treatment plan. The thing is I don't know how I am going to tell them, each time I think about it I start shaking and can't breathe and feel sick. How do I overcome this. My children don't live near each other so will not have each other for support. The grandchildren are aged between 2 and 20 but most under 12 how do I protect them from the facts.
Thank you
