Hi thanks for letting me join. I was recently diagnosed with SCC just above my top lip which I had been treating as a cold sore. There is also a patch on my nose. I’ve been referred to plastic surgery on Wednesday. I’m terrified and have no idea what to expect. 69 yr old female. They’re saying it might need a skin graft in the letter. The dermatologist also said there will be scarring. I couldn’t have MOHs as waiting list is too long. Will they scan the rest of me? How will they know how far it’s spread? So many questions keeping me awake at night. What do I need to do for aftercare? Can I get infections? Or eat? Work? Drive? Anyone else had similar? Tia
