I am having surgery on the 20th scared stiff I am having a mastectomy with a silicone reconstruction.

Hi Hetty,

I'm glad to hear that you now have a date for surgery. If it's of any consolation to you, I have had both a lumpectomy and a double mastectomy and I found the double mastectomy easier to cope with than the lumpectomy. Please keep us posted on how you get on and remember that we are always here for you.
