Hi Birdy83 I replied to your post on the other thread.  Hopefully it is not upgraded to stage 4.  I have stage 4 breast cancer which is incurable BUT it is treatable.  I was diagnosed in September 24.  With all the new drugs and trials and treatments they have now, it is possible to live a good life for many years.  I do hope you take someone with you next week.  Please let me know how you get on.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. It really means a lot, especially hearing from someone who truly understands the emotions that come with all of this.

I'm still waiting for the final CT report, so there's a lot of uncertainty at the moment, and I think that's one of the hardest parts. Reading your message has reminded me that even if things don't go the way I'm hoping, there are treatments available and people living well while receiving them.

I will definitely be taking someone with me next week. Thank you for the advice and for your kindness.
