I am so sorry to hear about your partner's step dad's recent bladder cancer diagnosis. It must be a time when there is a lot to take in but you still don't really have all the answers so you can be left feeling confused not knowing exactly what is happening next. We have detailed information on our website on bladder cancer which I hope you will find useful and will shed some light on what the next steps for treatment for bladder cancer might be. 

I hope that he won't have to wait too long for surgery and that the review will clarify all the details for you. It's a shame you are having to wait until the 13th of April though and I hope that the communication will improve and you manage to talk to someone soon to find out more about these next steps.

It might be a good idea to give our cancer nurses a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and they will be happy to answer questions you might have or simply talk things through with you which might help you have a bit more clarity as to what to expect. Please note that the nurse helpline will be closed for the Easter weekend reopening at 9am on Tuesday 7th April.
