My partners step dad was recently diagnosed with stage 3 bladder cancer.

We would appreciate some advice on wait times and next steps

1. 21st February received diagnosis of cancer

2. 22nd March received results of test determining cancer is stage 3 bladder cancer

We were told next steps were referral would be made to urologist for review and discuss next steps of bladder surgery and then a review of whether chemotherapy/radiotherapy would be required

I have read guidelines are that from cancer referral to treatment should be no more than 62 days.

We were told the review for surgery wouldn’t be until 13th April. 

any advice would be greatly appreciated as we feel we are getting nowhere with clear comms on when we can expect next steps!
