  • Hello Parnell1970

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial cancer. It's understandable that things may all feel overwhelming at the moment and that you have lots of questions.

Often people find this period of uncertainty between diagnosis and starting treatment difficult. If you wanted to seek a second opinion you can find information on our website.

I can see that a member  posted recently to introduce herself and is also living with stage 4 endometrial cancer. Hopefully, you will be able to connect with her. You might also be able to connect with  who posted a little while ago about her treatment for stage 4 endometrial cancer

I know that many people find it helpful to talk with someone about how they're feeling and I wonder if you might find it useful to chat things through with one of our nurses. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information, and support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that you can connect with others who are living with a stage 4 diagnosis Parnell1970. Keep in touch and let us know how you're getting on. We're here for you.

    Best wishes,

  • The treatment can seem daunting but once you’re in the system it all goes pretty smoothly! Concentrate as much as you can on yourself, listen to your body it will tell you what you need. Are you having a hysterectomy?

My journey started in January, yesterday my surgeon told me the tumour was completely removed. I had chemo and immunotherapy combined. I wanted the quickest way (impatient to be well) and it worked for me. Once you’re with your team they are so supportive. Feel free to message if you need to, I wish you well xx

  • Hi - so sorry to read your post - I was diagnosed with stage 4 in February and I was 56 - huge shock - but I completed combined chemo and immunotherapy in July and one of the tumours has completely gone and I have a small amount of scar tissue on another nodule - I continue with immunotherapy and scans and actually begin to feel like myself again - hopefully you will get more answers and a treatment plan soon - please let me know if I can answer anything for you and good luck on this journey
