Endometrial cancer stage 4

Hi - I was diagnosed with Endometrial Cancer in March 24 - I had full hysterectomy and radiotherapy for grade one contained cancer- after having some niggling hip pain in Jan 25 I had a further scan - that showed my cancer was back and on a node behind my stomach lining and further up on a node - grade 4 - I finished aggressive chemo in July 25 and a scan shows the nodule near my stomach has gone and the other is small and could be scar tissue - I am now having immunotherapy every 6 weeks for the next 3 years and regular scans - I wondered if anyone was in a similar situation to me

  • Hi Larowe,

A very warm welcome to Cancer Chat. I am so sorry to hear your cancer is back and is now grade 4. It's good news though that the nodule near your stomach has gone and the other could just be scar tissue. I hope that the immunotherapy treatment is a success. It's good that they will be doing regular scans to make sure that they are keeping on top of these nodules. There is information on our website on endometrial cancer which I hope you will find useful and if you needed to talk to our cancer nurses at any point or ask them any question, feel free to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

I just wanted you to know that you are not alone here on Cancer Chat and I hope that you will hear from other members of our community who have been diagnosed with stage 4 endometrial cancer. I thought I would introduce you to Lyndy  who posted this stage 4 endometrial cancer thread. She mentioned when she posted about 2 months ago that she was going to continue with immunotherapy so don't hesitate to drop her a line if you would like to do so. The same user posted this other thread looking for others diagnosed with endometrial cancer

I hope that you will get chatting soon on here with others who have had the same diagnosis and treatment and that you can share experiences.

    Best wishes,
