Lobular grade 2 breast cancer

Hi all I have recently been diagnosed with grade 2 lobular breast cancer I have MRI on Monday which I am so scared that it has spread .I have planned surgery for lumpectomy on the 23rd with possible breast lifts to make both breasts the same .I am absolutely terrified of surgery and really not sure what to do . Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Katycury I am sorry to read about your diagnosis.  I also had stage 3, grade 2 lobular breast cancer.  I also had MRI before my lumpectomy, I think this is standard procedure.  The surgery was not so painful and I healed and recovered quickly.  You must do the excercises that you they give you because they definitely help.  Best thing is not to google because information is out of date.  This site and Macmillan is the best for your information.  They have a breast cancer forum on Macmillan.  Good luck for your MRI on Monday.  Let me know how you get on.  Big hugs.
