New diagnosis of kidney cancer

Hello

I have just been diagnosed with kidney cancer and on 10 days time I have my kidney removed I have a tumour about 10 cm

it’s just so overwhelming I’m scared o might not get through the operation and if there any other cancer

I too have kidney cancer. The kidney had been removed but that doesn't seem to be the end of it. Now waiting for a scan and discussion about immunotherapy

I get my scan next Tuesday and hopefully find out on the Thursday the results. I can’t get the immunotherapy because I have bother with my bowel so been on a chemotherapy tablet for two weeks. I also had a 6 inch tumour in my kidney and got the kidney removed last March xxx
