Anal cancer diagnosis - waiting for treatment and getting anxious

I have been recently diagnosed and feel so so low as I feel there is a stigma attached but am a happily married Middle Ages woman !! I am awaiting treatment and am getting so anxious I can’t sleep as the waiting list for oncology is unbelievable and is it spreading !!

    Welcome to the club no one wants to join. There's no stigma to having anal cancer you were just unlucky. Im coming up 12 months post treatment and im cancer free, the treatment isn't a walk in the park but it is highly successful. Feeling anxious at this early stage is completely understandable but once you have a treatment plan in place you will start to feel more in control.
