Hi I have just been diagnosed with lung cancer don't know what's going to happen next have an appointment on Wednesday to speak to doctor at the hospital will keep you informed
I had a chest infection so doctor sent me to hospital they thought I might have a blood clot done a ct and said it is cancer then got an another ct scan to see if it had spread but it hasn't so that's good but yhey want do do a pet scan now she said if my lung capacity isn't good they might not be able to operate so I've to get a lung test on Thursday. This all started the end of August so about 4 weeks was In hospital for 12 days
They never mentioned a biopsy maybe after the pet scan she said the pet scan is in 3D so they get a better picture saw yhe ct scan image it's In the top right lobe I'm in Scotland
