I’ve just had it diagnosed. I’d noticed the lump for about 5 months. I’m very nervous too but all I’ve read points to it being easily treated. I just want to be certain on best ways to avoid in future 

sorry to hear this..I think as uve only had it a few months hopefully urs will be treated easily. I heard u could get more later in other areas or can re occur. less likely the earlier caught. .I've read it's just normal sun care high factor sunscreen. stay out sun midday etc. but im sure the dermatologist will give aftercare treatments wish u all the best.. how long un til ur surgery

had the procedure today... because it was on my arm I watched the whole of my surgery. it was totally painless ..need to wait 6-8 weeks for the results . it's a little achy now but nothing g major . not needing paracetomol yet.

it'll be the waiting g that's scary. I will probably be able to put to the back of my mind then go into panic  mode a week before
