I have an appointment Monday to see the oncologist to see what treatment I will be on for breast cancer and I was just wondering if you had to have an mri before you start chemo or if anyone just started chemo with out it
Hi Charlie_88. Sorry to hear about your breast cancer diagnosis. I had to have an MRI before I started chemo. Consultant said it was because it was lobular breast cancer and more of risk of spreading so just wanted to check. Do you have a date for your MRI yet.. Good luck for Monday.

Hi leelaloo how are you getting on with your treatment. It's a consultation with the oncologist so seeing what treatment is going to be best for me iv had every test there is already I just didn't know if they done another mri before chemo hope treatment is being kind for you
