Completely loosing my mind - please advise

Hello,

My dad (aged 53) has just been diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread to his lymph nodes, liver, spine, sternum & pelvis. With a node removed from bowel. Prior to this he was a healthy male and has only presented with shortness of breath which we have been told might only be linked to a clot he has. The doctors are shocked that he has no other symptoms and remains independent in all his personal tasks and mobility.

The conclusion is that this will be for palliative not curative treatment and I am not coping with the wait of not knowing his prognosis.  I am also 26 wks pregnant and every time I think about life of him not seeing or spending time with his first grandchild I break.

I am hoping for any information on best next steps and ways to manage as possible please. Who should we have involved?

thank you
