  • Hi Daisywoo,

I finished my radiotherapy on 02/08/2024 after 7 weeks -35 sessions.

The first 2 weeks of treatment everything was like normal, and after that my mouth started to get bad and I couldn't put anything inside. I had a feeding tube thro my nose for 4 months when I was eating just fortisip ((5-6 a day) and all my medication was liquid going thro the tube, In all this time I was taking paracetamol 4 times a day and some drugs like patches and morphine. Because of the drugs and treatment I was sleeping most of the time. I think the recovery period its harder then the treatment period, I am still not back to normal its a very slow process. I don't want to scare you, if you have more questions you can text me on WhatsApp 07773222829 .

Eat as much you can now because thro the radiotherapy you going to loose about 10% of your body weight. I lost 12Kg.

I had the PET scan on December 2024 and all came back clean, then it doesn't matter any more what it was.

Take care and keep strong .
