Polycythaemia vera PV - what other symptoms did people have?

My husband has recently been diagnosed with PV.

It's unclear how long he's had this but I suspect a long time (10y) before diagnosis, based on what we now know are potential symptoms.

What other symptoms have others had with PV that aren't necessarily in the information packs.

Sorry to hear about your husband having a diagnosis of PV.

I was diagnosed at 48 years old and I am now 59. I think I only had the well known symptoms but found lots of information on two sites.

MPNvoice.org.uk and Healthunlocked.com

It is very useful to find a specialist MPN consultant or Professor if you can. There are lots of new very effective treatments that allow you to have a very near normal life.

Keeping fit and active is important.
