Endometrial cancer diagnosis

Hi, 

I just thought I would drop in and say hello I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer on Monday 30th December. All I was told is that and that I had to have a ct scan the following day, my notes say probable hysterectomy with nodes which i didnt read until today. I don't know how to feel other than being scared,  telling my family was very hard as I feel like I've let them all down. I just thought I would introduce myself and see if anyone else is going through something similar.

    Hello. I have just joined the chat. And on searching found this thread, so I hope it is ok to join the conversation. I'm 55, been post menopausal for 2 1/4 yrs and only started a v low dose of hrt June last year. Last week I started bleeding heavily and had emergency GP appointment, now waiting for gyno appointment. I asked if I should carry on with the hrt and the GP just shrugged... Today I feel so bloated and back pain. I'm not going to lie I'm scared, I don't even have a prognosis yet, but I think I can guess. But I'm just in limbo, in pain and scared.

    How are you? I am going through similar to you - have an ultrasound and biopsy next week but am 57 have bleeding and pain and on HRT.
