Hi EdwardC,
A big welcome to our friendly community where I hope you will meet others who have been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. I am sorry to hear that CLL has made you feel less active. Have you been receiving treatment for it?
You have come to the right place to meet others who have been diagnosed with CLL and I have had a little look on the forum for you for other members who posted recently who are in a similar position. Debbie-P posted this thread last month about being diagnosed with CLL and this member needed to decide on treatment at the time - don't hesitate to respond if you wish. Another member worth mentioning is Pablo23 who is 64 so of a similar age to you and was diagnosed just a few months ago with CLL. You can read their CLL story on this thread and feel free to share your experience on their thread too if you would like to do so. These are just a couple of examples and if you would like to find more, all you need to do is type the keywords "CLL" in our forum search which is located at the top.
Our nurses are also available too if you'd like to talk things through. You can reach them on freephone 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm.
I hope that you will be chatting here soon to others who have had a CLL diagnosis.
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
