C L L need to choose treatment

I have been told to consider various treatments for CLL.  I have all the information and I am scared at the thought of complicated intravenous treatment which the consultant seemed to think is my best option.  It seems as if I will have constant hospital visits and checks for a year. I'm also worried about the side effects.  I also realise that it will just be remission if it is successful and this may be for a very short time.  Has anyone tried Venetoclax and Obinutuzumab and how did you get on?

  • Hi Debbie-P,

It sounds like you have a difficult decision to make - I hope that you'll be able to get more replies on the forum from others who may have advice or information to share.

I'm not sure how much you have discussed all this with your doctor/specialist, but do of course make sure to get all the information you can and ask any questions you have, so that you can be as informed as possible about what to potentially expect.

Our nurses are also available too if ever you'd like to talk things through. You can reach them on freephone 0808 800 4040 - Monday-Friday, 9-5.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
