Shop around - I’ve alternated between insurancewith and allcleartravel in recent years. Sometimes one is cheaper, sometimes the other - also check annual cover vs single trip. At times I’ve had annual cover for about 1.5 times that of a fortnight’s cover - at other times they’ll both only quote for single trip - depending on my comorbidities (I have several lol).
I have breast cancer and travel next week before treatment . I got best quote from insure and go. All questions answered about surgery and radiotherapy.its dual one with husband who has medical issues best quote we got 175 for 7 nights. When we go in December that will drop to 70 for two weeks because I will have had my surgery and it's classed as removed even though I'll be starting radiotherapy on my return. I can only reiterate what Gareece said about getting plenty of quotes with a warning about small print. if a price looks too good to be true, it probably is! Some scumbag insurance companies will give you an unexpectedly low premiums.
That happened to me once but luckily I smelled a rat. My cancer, ulcerative colitis, high blood pressure and diabetes had all been excluded from cover! All the things I NEEDED cover fir.
