Hi everyone!
I had an anal biopsy under general anaesthetic 5 days ago and am still feeling very uncomfortable. I had no symptoms but irregular cells were found in a routine colonoscopy. As the results were inconclusive it was decided to have a more thorough biopsy. It’s an anxious time now awaiting results . Has anyone out there had similar discomfort after a biopsy and if so how long did it take to get back to normal?
