Hi, my names Caroline, im 47 and last Friday I was diagnosed with small cell cancer of the anus, a rare and aggressive form.

I saw an oncologist on Tuesday and start my treatment tomorrow.

I'm feeling like I've been hit by a bus and I'll wake up soon from this really weird dream.

Hi Caroline,

I know the feeling, I’m still in a surreal state where I can’t quite believe everything that’s happened HAS happened.

but please reach out to me if you want to talk things over - I’ve exhausted literally every option possible so far and now at the last hurdle of having another surgery so I’m happy to give any insights that might hopefully help.

I dont mine sharing my story if it helps,I got my cancer free news last week,From being diagnosed, operation,treatment,it took me 18 months to get the news I received last week .
