Diagnosed a 2nd time with breast cancer

Just received the devastating news that after 24 years of

being cancer free it has now returned as a triple negative tumour.  My last tumour was estogen positive and received chemo and tamoxifen, letrozole etc.  

triple negative is not good news I hear.  Has anyone else been diagnosed with this and have a positive outcome.   I need something to cling onto.   Thanks

    Hi Jhin

    I was diagnosed with triple negative last September.  I had chemo and immunotherapy combined, followed by a lumpectomy.  I'm about to start radiotherapy, but all pre-surgical scans and ultrasounds showed the cancer had gone!  I'm now on preventative treatment with a further 5 sessions of immunotherapy and biphosphate tablets I've yet to start.  I didn't do cold cap so I did lose all my hair, but it's growing back now with a vengeance (I finished chemo in March this year).  I'm 60 years old.
