Hi Vitchy, I didn't have a PICC line, but asked for a port instead. Although, the procedure is a little bit more invasive, there is no maintenance afterwards. I really didn't like the idea of having to go to the hospital every week to have the PICC line flushed. Plus you can still swim an have a bath without any concerns with a port. Hopefully, you will get some positive responses from others who have had a PICC line. I think it's personal preference really. Xx

Hi Vitchy my partner had one a few years ago and was told she could do exercise, though obviously no swimming she had to hold it securely to her arm and wait 3-4 days after it was inserted to give it time to settle, Eddie xx
