glad you you are on the mend. My situation is very similar to yours. Was diagnosed Friday and are now waiting for my hysterectomy (am 61) so thank you for this comment has given me lots of positivity.

Have now got my date 18th August, so not long now.

That's great news....  It seems so long ago that I went through all this.. Make sure you are as fit and healthy as possible prior to the op as I do believe that will aid your recovery... Also prepare for when you come home.. I did lots of shopping before I went in...   x

It’s so positive reading about people that have come out the other side.

luckily this year I took up bowls and have been bowling 3/4 times a week, which I will carry on doing right up to the Op.

Hopefully you will have nice weather once you are out of hospital.. They don't keep you in there for very long but I couldn't wait to get home anyway..  Nothing like your own bed!! x

Ohh definitely. 2 nights at the most I think. Will be definitely good to get home.

Hi, good luck with hysterectomy, I had endometrial diagnosis march 21.. Hysterectomy so much easier then thought would be. I’m 60 now and touch wood still passing my 6 monthly checks xx
