You stay at home and rest and recover in my case i was back at work in 6 months. There were various outpatient appointments at the hospital with dietitians and the chance to discuss any issues. Never had any contact with my GP.

Hi. I'm still being investigated I had my biopsy last week. I just wanted to know if you had any other symptons? I have pain in my throat for quite a while now and metallic taste just wondering if others experienced this. Hope you are doing ok.  

I had no other symptoms except neck pain no metallic taste, I'm doing fine thanx

That's really good to hear that your doing well. I know I'm suspected but I haven't found many others kind of mention these symptons. It's a very difficult place to be in. Did you drive yourself crazy waiting for results its all I can think about. Thank you for your response. It really helps. 

No I was told before my biopsy by my consultant what he suspected it didn't drive me crazy it is what it is. I got on with my life whilst waiting for the results I suggest you do the same.

Hi I was diagnosed with throat cancer Sep 22 never had metallic taste just felt lump in my throat. It was a long journey but apart from not wanting to eat normal food all is good. Hope you will get good results but if not it is treatable and curable so keep optimistic good luck
