Weak and tired - you're right.Doctors have said listen to your body, do what it tells you, another said most people that had had what I have had done would still be in bed - I was up in my dressing gown when he saw me. I have been out three times so far since returning home, all medical appointments - splenectomy vaccination, blood tests, and renal clinic appointment. 21st March I shall be seen by the surgeon who did the operation. I do get impatient with myself, my husband is patient, bless him.
It's really great to hear from you and to discover that your recovery is doing so well. I know that you'll feel impatient that things are not moving fast enough, but you are certainly doing better than I was at this stage post surgery - they still had me incarcerated in a hospital bed. It's reassuring to hear that you have been out 3 times, albeit to hospital appointments. I notice that you'll see your surgeon soon and I hope that the appointment goes well. Continue to take things day by day and you'll eventually get there.
