Hello, Im going to say sorry now for the long post.
I had Invasive Ductal carcinoma in situ 1 year ago in my left breast. 20mm (grade 2) alongside that I had DCIS 40mm (grade 3 that dropped to grade 1/2)
er+pr+ 99% her 2 -
im 33 now and I had a lumpectomy, then had Chemo 6 rounds FEC T. Then went for a Mastectomy as I still had wide spread of DCIS. however after that my margins where not clear, so i went back for 2 more lots of surgery on my nipple area. I was finally told in March that i now had clear margins. I also then had a full hysterectomy.
started on exemesthane. Now we move forward to the present. MY ONCO score was 16
Over the last 6-7 weeks I have had issues after issues. my left side arm/hand/armpit/Shoulder. A non stop deep dull ache, pins and needles in my hand and aching all down my arm, Im very tired all the time.
my right hand - TRIGGER FINGER !
I have nerve studies tomorrow. My concern is
Could my cancer have spread ? What are the realistic chances of this happening with such an early breast cancer? Could it be something else? I just hate how I am feeling and my head is in the gutter. Its the non stop aching in my arm and shoulder blade and the pins and needles. I am so scared and worried. none of the specialist seems worried. Because the pain goes when I am lying down and sleeping, but soon as im awake its back and all day long.
Could it be tension or stress or a deep knot? I am having a mri on my breast next week and then seeing my oncologist a week later to discuss the pain.
has anyone had this? I have 3 little children and the thought of this coming back after me hitting it so hard with treatment last year.
