Hi everyone, I have recently been diagnosed with a nodule on the right side of my thyroid, and am having half of my thyroid removed despite the FNA results being inconclusive (meaning it might not be cancer).
I'm finding it difficult to talk to people about it because I feel slightly like a fraud! I don't want to make it seem like it's a big deal for it to then (hopefully) not be cancer, as that would cause them unnecessary stress. However I'm stressed myself about the surgery and am struggling to come to terms with it, especially the recovery side of it. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for dealing with the surgery before having a definite cancer diagnosis.
