Just been for results following my mastectomy (8 weeks ago) to be told the cancer found was HER2 positive grade 3 (not DCIS as first thought). Tumour was 6.5cm in the removed breast, and although that’s now gone, it’s still daunting. So now, bone scan and CT before chemo and herceptin treatment.

The waiting game is awful. As the removed lymph nodes removed also had cancer receptors, further surgery will be needed in arm pit later in the year following chemo.

Would love to hear from others in similar situations, advice on what to expect, do’s, don’t’s.
