Newly diagnosed with non Hodgkin's lymphoma

Hi I don't know where to start. I'm 34 and before everything started I was happy and healthy.

Two years ago I was found to have bone lesions throughout my skeleton, affecting my sternum, Ribs, Pelvis and 50% of my spine. Initial thought to be cancer. After every scan possible it was decided that my condition was not malignant.

Over the last two years I have been suffering with ridiculous pain in my lower back and being passed from department to department with no diagnosis or treatment plan, just being given high doses of Morphine tablets and other pain killers.

Long story short, after having a CT for something completely unrelated, it was found that the lesions had grown and I was sent to London for a bone biopsy.

3 weeks post biopsy and I have now been diagnosed with non Hodgkin's lymphoma. I'm devastated, I feel let down but I mostly feel numb.

Im told I need a PET scan for staging and possibly a bone marrow biopsy. At this moment in time they're thinking treatment will be 6 months of chemotherapy.

I don't really know why I am posting, I think I'm just possibly just getting it off my chest.
