had travelled  on a long holiday early Jan and was pointed out a lump on left breast while having a massage in the first week there and ended up being malignant cancer for whcih treatment was to be started straight away but preferred. to fly back home for treatment as have an excellent Breast Unit at home . cut trip and saw GP on teh 19th Jan and have had all tests including second biopsy last Mon 6th and all other tests and was going to see the consultant for results and treatment plan this afternoon . just heard this morning the biopsy result not to hand as yet and mdt this morning cannot discuss it so postponed until next week ! we are all aware of the backlog post covid and surely they are doing their best but certainly seems like an endless wait for the patient esp when it is confirmed to be malignant and spread to at least 2 lymph nodes .. have never needed to assert myself with the medics and have been lucky so far but had to press today and am sure others have had similar wait and my heart goes out to them ..
