I am so sorry to hear that it is an aggressive cancer, but it is small, hasn't spread and is going to be treated soon, which is good news. Were you told what hormone treatment you will have?

I hope that you managed to get some sleep after you replied to me. Unfortunately, difficulty in sleeping goes with the territory.

Please let us know when you get a date for  surgery and remember that we are always here for you.

3.12am   I had a call from the hospital yesterday to say my surgery will be next Thursday 12th Jan . The cancer is projesterone fed so will need hormone therapy.  I have a pre op appointment at the hospital tomorrow but need to be really careful because Covid is rife in my area so need to stay away from others x

Aww I'm so sorry to hear this, I wish you well and send you my love, I try to keep busy so I'm not constantly thinking of things, I'm a positive person which I think helps, but have this worry in the back of my mind, the worry that I have the dreaded c elsewhere, take care and we are all here for you to chat anytime xx

I am a positive person too so that should help. Not sure about the hormone therapy now as l read through the pile of panflets that l was given and it said in there that only oestrogen positive needed hormone therapy so l am not sure now. Anyway l am off to the hospital now for my pe op appointment x

I am delighted to hear that your appointment has come through for your surgery and hope that your pre-op one goes well too. Was that for today or tomorrow? Covid is still pretty prevalent in many areas. Still, it's good that you don't have to hide away for too long.

My pre-admittance appointment was today and l was given a clean bill of health in terms of having the anaesthetic . The pre op beed has not been done yet. I am thinking it will be done on the day x
