  • Hello Deehenry07

I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis although it's great to hear that you've found some of the posts by [@RadioactiveRaz]‍ and [@Anchor1707]‍ to be helpful. I know that lots of people who have been diagnosed with oral cancers have found their accounts to be informative and helpful.

I'm not sure that we've any members who are currently at the same stage in their journey as you but hopefully if we have they will see your post and reply.

It's understandable that you're feeling anxious ahead of starting your treatment next week. I wonder if you might find it useful to chat through your concerns with one of our team of nurses. I'm sure they will be able to offer some advice and support to reassure you. If you'd like to talk with them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope that all goes smoothly for your first session on Wednesday. Keep in touch and let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
