I'm sorry to hear that your dad got told by the urologist he has prostate cancer.

Not knowing your dad's medical history it's hard for us to say whether his pain could be a sign of things getting worse. With this in mind, there is a page from our website I'm linking here with information on prostate cancer you might find useful to read.

Hi I've been thinking of replying to you for a few days but not sure if replying is good or bad. 

 I started being sick regularly but felt fine no pain or other problems after plenty of blood tests and other checks turned out to be hiatus hernia so my stomach acid was higher than normal hence sickness, one blood test showed something else hence psa test. 

My original psa diagnosis was 1500 + after months of scans and biopsy went on hormone therapy tablets and injections,prostate cancer gone to lymph node's pelvis spine ribs and a lung was diagnosed feb 2016, im still here still fighting  

Im not curable having permanent meds changed now and again. 

Im also a carer for my wife she has alzimers and parkinsons plus other things. 

I didn't want to get your hopes up as lots of things can make a big difference good or bad.
