Hi one of the best things is trying to keep busy (occupy your mind and hopefully body, know easier said than done. If you go to the blue line at beginning of your string open SEARCH, enter what you want to talk about and you will get a list of people.

Hi Hawkster

i haven't been diagnosed yet but my mammogram and ultrasound indicate malignancy (M5/U5). Hopefully will get results on 9th. Should have been today but put back a week due to staff sickness. Since I found the lump almost 5 weeks ago, I've been all over the place. Sometimes I feel calm and other times I imagine the worst and get really fearful. I think that's perfectly normal. I've found it really helps to do anything that will distract me (spend time with family and friends, watch tv, work, housework, etc). I've also found prayer helps me and singing my favourite hymns, but I appreciate this may not be for you. My family are praying for me too. I keep telling myself a BC diagnosis is not necessarily a death sentence. There are so many treatments and options, and I know several people who have been treated successfully. I don't know if this helps, but know that you are not alone. Call the helpline here if you need someone to talk to.
