Exactly the same. Covid positive 3 days before July vulvectomy surgery. Rescheduled now for mid August.

Am counting down the days as just want to get it done and start recovery.

Hi yes early days. Have an appointment mid August for doctor to check on healing and hopefully have the results on the sentinel lymph nodes and the tissue removed as he could not take the margin they normally do as so close to butt. I looked  the other day and again today as I struggle to go to the toilet and thought I had split stitches. Doesn't look right to me but was told I would know if stitches had gone. Also so scared of getting infection because prone to them down there. I bought a sitz bath to put on toilet with warm water to help clean and a squirty bottle for every time I pee. Can't wait till its over.

I have cyst/tumor on outer labia so Vulva area (one side I think) and clitoris being removed. 
Sentinel lymph node scan being done same day just before surgery but the CT, MRI and groin scan all showing no spread - hence wanting to get surgery done asap

Hi hope you have had a date for surgery. And hope goes well. I had my appointment and results sentinel negative so I don't understand why 5 on scan showed up doc recons he got all cancer but he couldn't get the normal margin by my butt. I don't know how much margin was there. I got to see him every 3 months now.

I was wondering about recurrence has any one had one and does the margin mean more chance, also can he be sure he got it all or can it be undetected.
