Hi sorry to hear you have this. 

I'm sure, with SCC , the waiting for treatment is often less, than if you had a bcc. 

You have stage 3b so I reckon not too long to wait for the scan. 

Can I ask what alerted you -re symptoms before you sought help?

In February I thought something was going on but just figured it may be thrush or yeast infection so went to boots to buy some canesten duo but the cream didn't do anything then wiping after peeing was beginning to irritate so eventually I looked and noticed a lump and an open sore think the lump has grew since first noticed it as I don't remember it being so close to my butt hole.

Anyway, that's the thing with skin cancers , they grow anywhere you don't want them or expect them. 

SCC's will likely get you faster treatment and if the lesion has grown they'll want it out asap I'm sure. If you're anything like me you'll google and frighten yourself.

Yes I have done a lot of googling. Lump is measured at 2x1cm on letter so 2cm lol. I had call of hospital saying they had chased scan yesterday and the place that does them was booking it that day so to keep an eye out for a call but never got one so hopefully today with an appointment.

I did not receive call so I phoned one of the hospitals that has the scanner to see if they had my referral and she said yes and booked me in for tomorrow morning.

Thanks AngPat sorry for the late reply had a date for surgery then the day before tested positive for covid. So surgery got cancelled for 2 weeks now I am having surgery tomorrow.
